If you've never been, Ignite is Microsoft's biggest conference of the year, and it's built for IT pros, developers, partners and business leaders. The week opens with the keynote, where Satya Nadella and Judson Althoff share the latest on AI at Microsoft, and the session catalog covers everything from Copilot and agents to security, data and Windows.

How do I watch the online sessions at Ignite 2026?

Register for Ignite, then sign in on the Ignite site with the same account and open the session's page in the session catalog. Ignite plays online sessions right on their session details page, and for a live session, the video player turns on ten minutes before the start time.

Can I watch Microsoft Ignite 2026 sessions on demand?

Yes, most of them. Ignite marks every session as Will be recorded or Will not be recorded, and the recorded ones go up on their session details page, usually within 24 to 48 hours after the session ends. Mine is marked Will be recorded, so you can still catch it after the event.

Can I take a Microsoft certification exam at Ignite 2026?

Yes, if you're there in person. Ignite's agenda includes free onsite certification testing, and you reserve your spot ahead of time. If you're still picking an exam, my Microsoft credential study guides are a good place to start, and you're welcome to talk it through with me while I'm staffing with Microsoft Skilling.

What is the difference between the Microsoft Ignite 2026 passes?

The Conference pass gets you into all the in-person experiences, from sessions, demos and labs to the social events, with lunch included and full access to the digital experience. The Hub-only pass covers the Hub's booths, theater sessions and lunch service from November 17 to 19. The Digital pass is online only, with the keynotes, livestreamed sessions and a wide range of technical content.

Is there a party at Ignite 2026?

Yes, and the Conference pass includes the social events. There's a welcome reception on the first day, and Wednesday night is the celebration, with food and live entertainment for the Microsoft community.
