But what is a Skill, really? Where does it live, who can create one, and how do you build good ones? In this session, we'll break down SharePoint Skills end to end and walk through how site owners can start using them today.
We'll start with what SharePoint Skills are, how they work, and why Microsoft built them. From there, we'll dig into who can create a Skill, where it lives in SharePoint, and how site permissions control who can use it. Then we'll spend most of our time on walkthroughs of building practical Skills from real-world scenarios, before closing with current limitations and what's worth waiting for in upcoming releases.
Whether you own a single team site or manage content for an entire department, you'll walk away with a solid foundation in SharePoint Skills, a set of practical examples you can adapt to your own sites, and a clear path to start using AI in SharePoint in a way that fits how your team actually works.
