If you want to save money while advancing your career with a Microsoft certification, I have some incredible news for you. Microsoft is giving away 50,000 free certification vouchers, each worth up to $165. But this is a limited-time offer, and the sooner you act, the more chances you have of getting yours. In this video, we’ll keep it short and sweet, and I’ll show you the exact steps you need to follow to get your certification voucher. Don’t worry, it will take you less than 5 minutes. So let’s get started.

Welcome back to the channel, everyone. In case you missed it, Microsoft has just started their AI Skills Fest Challenge because, let’s be honest, AI is the only thing that Microsoft talks about these days. There are a few events going on, including an attempt at a Guinness World Record. But what we want to focus on is their amazing offer for 50,000 free certification vouchers.

Registering for the AI Skills Fest is simple. First, you’ll navigate to this page: https://skillsfest.event.microsoft.com. Don’t worry, it’s also in the description below. Click the “Register Now” button, and then you’ll have some information to fill out. Let me do it with you over here. Fill everything out, accept all the terms and conditions (which I’m sure we all read), and then click “OK.” Great! With that done, you should receive an email very shortly confirming your registration. So far, so easy.

Now, there are a few more things we need to do. First of all, let me tell you about the certifications you can get a voucher for because it’s not every single Microsoft certification. If we look at the list, the vouchers you can get can be used for the AI-900 Microsoft Certified Azure AI Fundamentals, AI-102 Microsoft Certified Azure AI Engineer Associate, AZ-900 Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals, AZ-204 Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate, MS-102 Microsoft 365 Admin, SC-200 and SC-401 Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst and Administering Information Security in Microsoft 365. The SC-401 is brand new, so it’s definitely a hot topic right now, especially securing your environment. We then go into the data exams: DP-900 Microsoft Certified Azure Data Fundamentals, DP-100 Azure Data Scientist Associate, DP-203 Azure Data Engineer Associate (but honestly, I wouldn’t do this one because it will get retired very soon), DP-300 Azure Database Administrator Associate, DP-420 Azure Cosmos DB Developer Specialty, DP-600 Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, DP-700 Fabric Data Engineer Associate, and finally, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, which is exam PL-300. So there is something for everyone, which I love about this challenge because sometimes Microsoft does them for only three or four exams. Now we have over a dozen.

Now that we’ve covered this, you’ll need to go back to the homepage of the site and at the bottom, click on “Level Up Your Skills with a Challenge.” From here, you will see many challenges, but they’re not all good for us. I mean, they’re all amazing content, but not for the vouchers. In the filter on the left, click on the audience role and then select “Tech Professionals” and click on “Apply Filters.” Now you will see the technical ones. This is what we need. So find the one that interests you the most, and you have to pick between one of the ones that I’ll tell you about right now: Create Agentic AI Solutions with Azure AI Foundry, Become a Fabric Data Engineer (prep for the DP-700 certification exam), Migration Essentials for Azure and AI Workloads, Architecture Recipes for AI-Powered Applications, Protect Data in the Age of AI, Extend Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat and Microsoft Teams with Apps, and finally, Prevent and Respond to Cyber Attacks at the Speed of AI.

For me, the one that applies the most right now is “Extend Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat and Microsoft Teams with Agents and Apps.” Let’s start it. Now you might look at the time and say, “Vlad, you promised me 5 minutes. It says over 20 hours at the top.” You don’t need to finish it, but you do need to start it and try to complete the module. Remember, it’s free learning. It will help you get certified, but all you need for the voucher is to start it. That’s all.

With this done, go to this link, which again you’ll find in the description of the video below, and let’s sign up for the voucher. If we read the form, it says Microsoft is giving away 50,000 free Microsoft vouchers in weekly prize drawings. So the earlier you register, the more chances you have. All you have to do is start one of the qualifying challenges (not complete it) and fill out the form. Now we will fill out the form together. It’s easy. You need to confirm your Microsoft Learn username (there’s even a short link for you to check it), enter your email, select which of the challenges you started, accept all the terms and conditions, and bam, you are done. Microsoft will give away between 5,000 and 10,000 vouchers every single week. I added the periods, how many vouchers, and all that information on the screen for you right now. If you don’t win in the first prize period, your entry will automatically get rolled over to the next one. So after you do what I told you, you don’t need to do anything else. Winners will receive an email from MindHub Pro by Pearson VUE with a digital code for their voucher. Once you get that voucher, you must schedule and take your exam by June 21, 2025.
