Hello everyone, we are live from the Microsoft 365 community conference in Las Vegas. This week, Microsoft did a ton of announcements for SharePoint administrators, which, as you all know, is my favorite audience. Today, here with me, I have Principal PM at Microsoft, Dave Minasyan. Thank you for joining me, Dave. You’re welcome. He will go through all the amazing features coming to SharePoint advanced management. So, what do you have for us? I’ll let you take it away, and I’ll ask all the questions. Sounds good. Yeah, we have a ton of stuff that we announced today. We’ve been here listening to customers for the past, I don’t know, three or four months since Ignite, and we brought as many things as we could within the last four or five months. A lot of the things that I’m going to show you today are either in preview or upcoming, so they’re not necessarily available yet to all the customers. And yeah, so we’re always looking to kind of showcase it and get feedback from customers, so this is great. Thank you for inviting me over.
Alright, so let’s get started. So, before we kind of get going into this, I want to remind the listeners that SharePoint, the reason we’re building a lot of these capabilities in SharePoint, is because SharePoint actually is at the core of a lot of the collaboration that is happening within Microsoft 365. So, a lot of the apps, although they have their own interfaces and kind of capabilities, a lot of the collaboration portions are all driven from and backed by SharePoint. So, whenever people tell me SharePoint is going to die, I’m like, it cannot; Microsoft 365 runs on SharePoint. Yeah, pretty much. So, that’s why most of the controls that we are putting together as far as governing that collaboration and harnessing the content is coming into SharePoint advanced management and SharePoint in general, SharePoint admin center, and we kind of are really empowering the admins within SharePoint to really kind of add that value and add that control.
Alright, so with that, let’s kind of get started. So, one thing I do want to remind is that everything we’re building in SharePoint advanced management kind of falls into three pillars. So, it reduces sprawl, controls over sharing, and manages lifecycle. So, everything I’m going to talk about today kind of falls under those three pillars today and in the future as well. Okay, so pretty straightforward, pretty simple. Now, as far as the, yeah, I want to kind of clear up one thing really quickly. So, I’ve heard rumors that somehow folks were talking about SAM premium or some SAM Pro beyond what SAM is today. So, I want to clarify that there’s only one SAM and it’s included with Copilot. I love it. Okay, so it’s very, very simple. There’s nothing extra on top of that. The key here is that everything I’m going to talk about today, everything new that is coming, is coming to SAM, which is part of Copilot. Now, we do have some features which we’ll talk about towards the end that are governance features, but we’re not really sure about the licensing yet. Okay, so we’ll cover that too because we have a lot of folks who are interested in those types of features. Awesome. And whenever I talk about SAM, even if I have the picture from Ignite, people don’t believe me. So, in my session this week, I also added a photo of you. Oh, good. Near this SAM. Okay, see, I have two pictures with two Microsoft people saying it. It’s real. Good. Yeah, so there is no, so I want, you know, we announced, there was a reason why we announced SAM as part of Copilot. We’re keeping to that word. Nothing is changing. So, with that, let’s jump in.
So, as everyone has probably at this point seen one version of this or another, we have a lot of capabilities that are part of SAM. And today we’re going to talk about the new capabilities, which are highlighted here. So, we have quite a few new things that are coming up. So, let’s get going with that.
The first thing that we’re going to talk about is content management assessment. So, when I talked to a lot of customers just for feedback, etc., one of the things that kept on coming up was, hey Dave, so you guys have all these tools, all these capabilities, all these reports, but how do I get started? Like, what is that first thing that I need to do? How do I know where I’m at today? Do I even have a problem? Do I even have a problem? Yeah. Or, you know, even if I have a problem and I did everything you asked, am I okay? Can I now say confidently that I’m okay and I have the governance kind of under control? I’m using the right tools, etc. So, this is kind of what brought up the idea of content management assessment, is that we really tried to really simplify, like really simplify, you know, how to get started with SAM.
Now all you have to do is you come to SharePoint admin center, on the left-hand, in the left navigation, there’s an area called advanced management. You click on that, there’s going to be a new kind of starting screen that will show up. The old one will still be available in all features if you click on it. Yeah, because right now it’s just a list of features and where to go for them. It was mainly designed, that the first kind of MVP was designed just to have a menu of things, so you at least know what you have. Right. This is more getting you engaged with much of what you have, versus just showing you a menu. Okay. Okay. So, here, the first thing you do is just come in, start the free assessment. So, I have a question for you already. Absolutely. It says Start the free assessment. Will customers who do not have Copilot or SAM still be able to do it just because it says the word free? Yeah, yeah. So, that’s a great, great, great point. This is why it’s coming to preview. We’re still kind of working on the language. To answer your question specifically, as of right now, no, but we are talking about that potentially in some version of this that will come in. But as of right now, it’s available. Yeah, you need SAM or Copilot. Yeah, exactly.
So, you click the start the assessment. It will run essentially. So, once you click on it, starting that point, it will run all the SAM kit, like reports that we have, all the main reports that you really need, especially for Copilot kind of unblocking and kind of deployment. And we actually look at those results, break them up, and then categorize them in a very kind of simple, straightforward way. So, you can actually see. So, on the right-hand side, like report findings, that’s basically the list of different sites that have some sort of impact that we recommend you go look at. So, you create a temporary policy for them. You run them towards that policy, maybe for inactivity, it will be six months or something. Yeah, it gets created in a default state. Okay. Yeah. So, we would do it at the maximum, you know, like, so it’ll be like six months. Right. Okay. So, you can always go and adjust it and do whatever you want, your policies and stuff like that. But this is just to get you going. Right. So, and then on the left-hand side, that, you know, left outline there, that’s just showing you how many total sites that we found that are potentially impacted. Right. So, you want to get, you know, simply put, as low a number of those sites that are impacted as possible. Right. So, and then we’re giving you the tools to do that. Right. Awesome. And I see you can run it every 30 days. So, yeah, you can run it every 30 days as of right now. We are looking for feedback on whether you need to run it more often. I don’t know why you would need to run it more often, but I think at the beginning, you might need to. Yeah. So, we’re starting with 30 days we’ll, which makes sense. 30 days, I think, is a really good starting point. Good starting point. We also have some limitations in other SAM reports or how often you can run them, etc. So, that adheres to whatever the limits are there.
So, now the next thing that we’re bringing in here, and one thing other than that is not highlighted here, I want to kind of call out. If you look below that, it says AI insights, top insights. So, what’s going to happen, and that’s not going to be available in preview right away. So, this is a little bit forward-looking. We have a capability in SAM called AI insights, which essentially you actually have to run the report and then you can initiate AI insights on any report, on any SAM report, and it will give you kind of, you know, identify different things that, you know, patterns it’s seeing and recommendations. Hey, Vlad is the problem. That’s well in my opinion, is your owner, like you have one owner who has a lot of trouble sites. Yeah. Train Vlad and you’ll solve 50% of your problems. Yeah. Yeah. And that’s what will happen if you do it on a test tenant or something that is all yours. Yeah. But it does find some patterns, etc. We are for V2 of that part. We are going to be enhancing that quite a bit. So, you’re going to be able to see many more insights, deeper insights, and you’re going to be able to isolate and break down the different sites that kind of meet that, kind of fall under the same category of insights, etc. So, pretty cool stuff. But the key here is that with clicking that one button, we will run all the reports, and then we’ll automatically run insights on all those reports and then generate a kind of an overview of the patterns that we’re seeing across the board. That is amazing. And then give you recommended actions, etc. So, that area is going to evolve. That’s why I’m not highlighting it right now.
Now, the next thing is, so when you click on any of the kinds of findings, we give you a panel that shows you recommended steps. So, that tells you, okay, you have potentially this problem, here are the tools that you can go use, and then gives you why and kind of more description, connects you to the right learn documents, etc. So, it’s all kinds of help with getting you going, getting you started. It reminds me a bit of the secure score in a way, or the compliance score that you have an assessment and it tells you, it gives you a list of things you need to do to get better. And I know admins have been loving that, so I’m super glad to see that in SharePoint. I do want to clarify, this is not an assessment score. I know we had that conversation before. Yeah. But it does give you an idea of potential work that you have to do, basically to clean things up. So, right now, without all this functionality, without SAM, some of this is not possible to do. Others, you have to write complicated scripts, it takes months to do, etc., etc., especially for large tenants. So, this kind of simplifies it. This report is not immediate, so I want to call that out because different SAM reports take time to run. So, it could, depending on your size of your tenant, it could be anywhere from 24 hours to, in the community, we call it the Microsoft minute. It could be one hour or 72 hours. It’s a Microsoft minute. Yeah. And the cool thing is, is that as data becomes available, we’ll start populating it here. Cool. Okay. So, you don’t have to wait. You’ll start seeing things appear. Oh, that’s so as soon as the information is available, you can start seeing it and start going through and acting on it. And all the policies you create are in simulation mode, let’s say, where it has just been activated. It will not send the alerts. It will not send. No, no, no, absolutely not. So, this is just the reporting. So, this is why in the recommended next steps, we’re recommending that you take action. Cool. So, you can choose to go and take those actions. There are a lot more enhancements that are coming up here to further help you to kind of initiate the actions from here. Then you can schedule kinds of notifications so that it’ll let you know when the reports are ready, things like that. So, you don’t have to constantly come in and check and stuff like that. But that’s like a little bit later.
The next thing we’re going to talk about, do you have any other questions on? No, I think for that one, amazing, pretty straightforward. I like. Yeah, I like that when there are not that many questions, because then that means the functionality is pretty straightforward. Honestly, it is. I love it. Awesome. So, the agent’s insights are another big area that we’re starting to invest in. So, up until now, we’ve been dealing with SAM has been concentrated on files and sites, mainly sites at this point. And our customers are looking to adopt agents, SharePoint agents, Copilot studio agents, and they’re looking for governance. They are. They’re interested to see. They need to see what these agents are doing, where they are located, and what the engagement with those agents is. They need to have tools to stop the agents from working through certain things. As soon as it’s turned on by default, we need visibility into it as well, or at least a way to turn it off. Yeah, exactly. So, that’s kind of why we decided to just really quickly shift into this. So, we now have the official first agent insights report that is going to be available. It was also announced at the keynote with Satya Nadella on Tuesday, I think. Tuesday, yeah. So, pretty cool functionality. So, let’s go through that quickly. So, we have two kinds of reports that are going to come through. The first one, I’m not going to spend, I don’t have slides for the first one because that’s already available in pre-preview, and it’s going to be coming out pretty quickly into GA.
Right now, I know I have access to it in PowerShell because part of the private preview, but I guess we’ll get about the same information as in PowerShell, just as in the UI. In UI, yeah. So, a lot of our kind of DAG type of functionality, we usually release in PowerShell. That gives us a chance because we can do that much faster. And that gives us a little chance to kind of get some feedback from customers, like see if we’re missing anything, and then we add that in. And really, I don’t think most admins mind it because we love PowerShell. Yeah, most PhD level admins like you are, you know, like it’s not a big deal, but we have a huge number of SMBs, VSBs, you know, like that UI because they have an admin managing Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, everything. So, we have, you know, not every customer has technical admins in place. The majority of them, you know, big chunks of customers, they have, you know, just regular, you know, people managing part-time. They got to manage SharePoint. Exactly. So, we want to make sure that it’s as intuitive for them to do it as anyone else. So, we want to empower those folks because we do want to scale these things. We want the people to use them so that they can get their tenants, so they reduce the number of issues they potentially have. Right. So, with that, let’s jump in. So, I’m going to show specifically the agent access. Awesome. And that’s the upcoming things that we’re investing in.
So, what this report shows, setting up the report is fairly straightforward, just like any other report. I’m not spending too much time on that. But the report here is essentially going to show you all the sites. It’s going to show you the volume of requests that we’re getting for a specific agent. So, that’s an interaction. It’s the interaction. Then we show you how many agents there are. We show you the site owner. And then if you click on the actual site itself, a panel opens up and it shows you the agents and who owns those agents, who’s the creator of those agents. Right. So, if you need to do some, like if you need to kind of initiate some sort of access review or if you need to kind of connect with that person just because you’re seeing some abnormal activity, you have the chance to do that. Now, that is cool. Do you know if the agents found will include both approved agents and unapproved agents, or is there going to be a way to see, you know, because we might have 10 agents on a site that people did as a test, but they’re not approved agents. Yeah. So, this will show you, I’ll need to double check and get back to you, but this will show you all the agents that are interacting with the content. Okay. That’s the intent here. We don’t want any blind spots because you could have an unapproved agent that somebody uses for some weird task. Right. And it’s going and accessing information, and doing something that it should not be doing. So, you actually should be able to see that here. Perfect. And then if you, you know, for whatever reason, you do not want that activity to continue to happen, you can initiate RCD on that site as well, which locks down the agent. Awesome.
So, I know RCD, once you enable it, you cannot create new agents anymore. Yes. Does it also stop existing agents from working? Yeah, it stops you from, that’s a great question. I’ll need to double check on that and get back to you. But it does stop the agent creation, and it does not; my understanding is that it does not allow you to actually, for the agents to work. Okay. So, if there’s an existing agent who applies RCD, it works just like RCD on the site. Right. So, you’re RCDing site. So, you’re blocking the LLM from actually accessing and reasoning over that content. Awesome. Essentially. All right. That’s cool. We need that. Not that I love that. We need that. This is starting to roll out. So, not this specific report, but the SharePoint, we’re starting with the SharePoint agent one, and then we’re going to roll this into that as well. I mean, the private preview, I know it’s real. I’ve played with it. This is all real. This is like, we’re heavily investing in this stuff. So, for sure. And this is just what I mentioned earlier. You can initiate and control access there. Now, the other really big thing that is coming into restricted content discovery is we’re going to allow admins to delegate the decision of whether the content should be part of Copilot decision-making or processing to the actual owner of the content of the site. The reason this is important is that, as a SharePoint admin, you can go in and enable RCD one by one. You can even write a script because it’s also available in PowerShell. You can go and write a script and enable it for thousands of sites if you want. You shouldn’t do that, but you could. The key is that the thing that we kept on getting questions about is that, as an admin, I have thousands and thousands of sites that I’m looking after. So, going in and enabling one by one and doing analysis of content that I don’t necessarily know if it should be or should not be part of Copilot is kind of time-consuming. This will enable you to quickly speed up that whole process much faster where you tell the users, “Hey, if you think this should not be in it, here’s a switch.” You’re taking the onus from the admin being all-knowing of all the content, which is impossible. It is pretty difficult to do to the actual content creators and the owners of the content.
So, once you enable it, it’s a switch in PowerShell. Right now, it’s in PowerShell, but it will be in UX as well. You flip it up, and the delegation becomes available. By the way, I did say it’s available now. It’s available in preview, in private preview, not GA yet. But it is usually we keep things in private preview for a month or two, allowing us to try and break them and get some feedback, see if you yell at me or not. Right. And then we bring it to the next level and enable it to everyone. Alright, so there are two, and by the way, RCD is also not the delegated part, but the RCD part also made it into UX now. So, that one is already approved and we’re good to go. So, we added it to the site so you can actually do it in UX and enable it. That’s amazing for everybody that does stuff in the UI. It’s really cool to have it pretty straightforward. And this is what it would look like with the delegated option. So, in this case, this example, for whatever reason, I added the example there where the RCD is disabled. But if you enable it from the admin side, this would actually turn on. Right. And you can turn on and off as a user, as an admin, or site owner.
Alright, so the next thing we’re going to talk about is permission state report and all the enhancements that it’s getting. The biggest thing that I want to really quickly concentrate on is the new type of report that we’re getting in, which is something that customers have been asking us in one way or another for many years now. I don’t know how many scripts I created to do this. Yeah, so we finally have this, which is super exciting for me and super exciting for a lot of the customers we have. And that’s basically permission state report for users and groups, or at a user and group level. Nice. Which means I can go and say, tell me all the sites, all the permissions, all the permissions that Vlad has to any of the content within SharePoint. Awesome. Right.
So, and that basically is a super, super powerful use case, especially for example, if I am, let’s say Vlad is leaving the company. Right. I want to see what Vlad has access to so I can reorganize it maybe and not have orphaned users, things like that, or lock down the content. Right. Things like that. So, you can do these kinds of things. It also is helpful for investigations. So, if something happened, right, you want to go and see where potentially that happened. You can now do that much, much faster. Let me actually show you really quickly. I wrote so many scripts for that. I can probably do it with my eyes closed now, the loops and everything. Yeah, see, there you go. Yeah, so now you don’t have to deal with that at all.
And again, just like any other DAG report, it comes in snapshot or it comes in as the last 28 days. So, if you select the last 28 days, you’ll see what Vlad has gotten permission to in the last 28 days, basically. Or a snapshot will give you his overall access on this specific day up until I click the button here. Okay. Yeah. So, the way you do it is you just add the person or the group that you want to monitor. You can actually do both if you want. This is the example that shows both. And the permission report will run just like any other permission state report and will generate this report. So, in this case, we have three specific rows or columns that I want to call out. So, items with direct access.
So, these are the numbers that Vlad or, in this case, Monica has direct access to. Items with indirect access. So, direct access is you have either created it or you have been kind of added specifically. Somebody shared specific people. Exactly. Indirect access is more like I shared a link somewhere in some chat and you might have not even clicked it. Okay. So, I could have access to it. You could potentially have. So, it’s indirect access, but I shared something with you and then you maybe accessed it. Okay. Right. At that point. And then site shared, whether it’s shared with others or whether it’s shared just, it’s yours specifically. Okay.
And then the other couple of things I want to add here is, do you notice on the left-hand side, I’m not highlighting it, but e-sign documents and high-value sites. Yes. So, we had several sessions throughout this conference around e-signature and specifically around agreements app. Right. So, it’s a new app that basically is going to host all your important documents, agreements. Yeah. Integrates with e-signature so you can do everything in that one place. So, the reason that’s important is because right now, for the customers that, so we have a lot of customers that need this and they have solutions, one like they build a lot of times or some MacGyver things that they’re doing. And the key is in most cases, content actually, those most important documents that you have that you have to sign and your contracts, etc., they leave Microsoft 365 security boundary to a third party or whatever, wherever it is. Right. And as soon as that leaves, Microsoft cannot really protect that file anymore.
So, these solutions, they actually keep everything in the boundary. And on top of that, we’re integrating the data from the usage into these reports, into the SAM reports. So, you will actually be able to govern content in one place. Right. So, e-sign documents is e-signature. Yep. And high value is everything with e-signature or a contract or something in the agreements tool. Yeah. So, it will be an agreements tool. So, right now it’s contracts and agreements, but it could be any kind of important document that you decide to. Okay. So, like the third one there, Contoso Finance, it has e-sign documents, but it’s not high value because it doesn’t have agreements. Yep. Awesome.
Do you know if we’re going to be able to define what a high value is for me? Can I say that everything that is patient information is high value? So, right now the site itself is a high value site. So, when you go into the, let’s say the agreement app in the background, it adds a site and that site is flagged as high value. So, anything you put in the app automatically is. It’s the documents that you decided. Will we be able to change that with PowerShell? The flag? The flag, I don’t believe so. I tried. Yeah. Yeah. You did? Did you succeed? No. No. No. I tried asking. You tried because I didn’t know about this until today. So, yeah. But no, I’ll have to go look. I’ll have to try and break it in private preview. Let me know if you could.
Right. So, one thing actually I do want to call out is that the propagation of that data is not yet in. So, this is a little bit future looking. So, everything is there besides those two columns. So, those two columns are something that we want to bring in the near future. Okay. Yeah. It’s fairly near future, but yeah, it’s something that we’re working on. So, pretty cool stuff. And obviously, all the normal SAM or data access governance actions you can take on these sites. So, I see site access review, RCD. Yep. Yep. Awesome. For now, it’s those.
Again, the user will just, or site owner will get a notification once the access review is triggered. They get a customized dashboard with only the issue, like the files that have issues. Yeah. Not even top. It’s like just files that have issues with them that admin needs to be, is asking to be fixed. Right. And I think you added something new here. Or maybe I didn’t see it before, but you see the users that this has been sent to. So, you can see it has been sent to those people. Yes. So, you know, if you want to talk to them or if you want to, hey, let’s book a meeting and fix it together. Yes. I don’t think that was there before. This has been there since Ignite, but it was part of the permission state report. Yeah. Which you basically can just describe whatever site you’re looking for and it will go look at all the available indexes that we have and then just kind of sort out the active site list and then give you the site that you want. So, you don’t need to say find sites owned by Vlad that are external sharing is on. Yeah. Nice. So, you can do as many, so you don’t have a limit of how many. Okay. So, you can say just describe. So, that’s really cool. So, we’re going to start with those, but those are really, really fundamental skills. On top of that, we’re going to start building out what you’re seeing right now. So, this is going to, this is something that we’re starting to work on. Okay. So, a little bit futuristic. Okay. Primarily because a lot of the examples that I’m showing you don’t exist yet, like we’re rolling them out or they’re in private preview.
So, we’re going to see it maybe like a demo at Ignite when you say that. Yeah. We’re going to actually see it, hopefully not more than a demo. Hopefully it will be rolling out at Ignite. Oh, okay. So, it’s very close futuristic. Yeah. Yeah. It’s doable kind of. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. So, one of the things that, and I obviously I have just screenshots here, but if you look at the top there, the question asks is help me optimize my tenant settings or reduce oversharing. Okay. So, what it does here is that one of the skills that we’re building out is settings review. Okay. Or review settings skill. And what that skill is going to do is, so Copilot is now going to be aware of all your tenant settings. So, including classic settings, new settings, PowerShell settings, settings in Graph, like basically across the board. Things that you don’t really have access to right now unless you go into Graph, unless you go into PowerShell separately. Right. So, you can do things like you can start auditing things. You can say things like, hey, you know, where am I vulnerable? Like, you know, can you recommend me things that I need to do to prevent X, Y, and Z problem? Right. So, in this case, that is pretty cool. So, in this case, we’re looking at optimizing tenant settings to reduce oversharing. So, if you can see here, it’s starting to kind of recommend you things that you kind of need to be aware of. And it’s actually referencing data points.
Let me actually go to the here. It’s referencing data points from the access governance assessment or sorry, content governance assessment report. Awesome. So, essentially you run the content governance assessment report and then you can start asking questions from Copilot to like break it down and to start working step by step on fixing them. Yeah. And it’ll kind of guide you through things that you need to do, give you actions that you can implement right from Copilot and kind of just manage everything in one place without, so minimizing the number of clicks you have to do or figuring things out or learning things like you don’t have to do any of that stuff. That’s amazing. Change management, hopefully if we get this right, the change management will be super kind of seamless. Right. So, new features, we’re going to kind of start picking up the speed of how quickly we’re bringing things forward. And that has always been an issue across Microsoft 365 is that things are changing all the time and admins are always like, “Oh my God, like what did I miss?” Right. So, across, you know, so we are bringing Copilot not just in SharePoint, but in Teams and Microsoft 365 admin center, Exchange, etc. So, and all of these will be interconnected. So, all these skills will be interconnected. Wow.
So, I’ll be able to, in the SharePoint admin center, it might tell me do something in Teams. Yep. And it will basically, or you can, you don’t even have to ask anything about Teams. You can just ask a question and it’ll say, “Oh, actually you need to go do this.” And you can click on it. It’ll take you exactly where you are, where you should be in Teams to implement. That’s amazing. Obviously, we’re going to respect RBAC. So, you know, you can’t do things that you don’t have permissions to. Will it still tell me like, “Hey, you know what, you’re not a Teams admin, but talk to your Teams admin about this.” Yes. Yeah. So, it will tell you the thing that you want to do is in Teams admin center, but you do not have permission to it. Okay. So, then you need to actually go and I think Satya actually showcased some of that. Okay. He didn’t showcase, he showcased the happy path. Yeah. Where you have access to everything. You’re like a global admin, have access to everything. But yeah. So, if you don’t have access to something, it will notify you.
Awesome. I think in the beginning, it’s going to basically take you to that page. You’re going to see some sort of error. But eventually, we’re going to tie that into the experience. That’s really cool. It’ll be really cool. And I’ve been in the preview for the M365 admin center Copilot and I loved it just to catch up on stuff and to summarize the message center, things like that. It’s a small thing, but it really makes a huge difference. You go on vacation, 20 minutes a day makes a huge impact over the whole month. So, yeah. Yeah. Exactly. And we’re going to bring, so that’s the beauty about this integration is that we’re going to consume those skills from all the different teams that are developing things and whatever makes sense, we’ll bring it and initiate it here as well. Right. I love it. So, you can access these different things. So, that’s why I’m saying like the speed is going to increase because now it’s not just SharePoint building. It’s the entire ecosystem building and everyone can start using different components to improve the experience.
Are we going to be able to do actions from it? Yes. So, that’s kind of what I’m showing here. It’s like in this case, we’re showing, well, this one is just view. But if you, there we go. I had a feeling about the next slide. Yeah. Yeah. So, it will definitely recommend, you know, tell you to go to a certain area because some things are just not practical to do in Copilot because like showing an active site list in Copilot, like a little pane, probably not going to work out. So, we direct you there just for some actions so you’re aware of those. And then if you still are okay, you can initiate it through Copilot. Awesome. The other thing that we’re bringing in also that I’m not showing here is bulk actions. So, you can use the kind of multivariable search or, you know, kind of the site search functionality through Copilot, find the specific sites that you want, and then you can action bulk action onto those sites from Copilot.
That is so cool. So, like find me all the sites that like say are externally shared with anonymous and then turn it off or make it authenticated users only. And you’ll always confirm. Yes. Awesome. You will always confirm that. Absolutely. Like Copilot is not going to do anything on your behalf without you actually clicking the button. Clicking and confirming. At least for the near future. I don’t know anything that we’re working on right now that will. I mean, in the future, one day we’ll just think at it and it will do it for us. But, you know, just when you do confirm and I guess it will run under your account. So, when you look at unified audit log, recent admin changes, it will be like Vlad did it. Exactly. Not like Copilot did it. Not Copilot. Okay. Yeah. We are actually looking at ways to indicate that it was done by Vlad with the help of Copilot. But I don’t think that’s there yet. Something that we’re looking to do. And yeah, so you can actually initiate site policy comparison, which we’ll talk about in a minute if you have that, which it’s not out yet.
Okay. All right. So, speaking of that, now earlier in the beginning, I mentioned that a lot of things that we’re building are part of SAM. We know that already. Some things that we’re building because we know that there is a need, but we don’t have a confirmation on what licensing is going to be. And from the product side, I don’t deal with licensing too much. I just deal with building the product. So, as soon as I know, everyone will know. But right now, we are building certain things and we do want customers to actually try them out in pre-preview. Okay. But are not part of officially Copilot or we don’t even know where it’s going to yet. And as we know, Microsoft licensing until it’s in GA, that’s when licensing is confirmed. So, even in Anthra, we had access to so many things. Like I think conditional access policies for certain, for select SharePoint sites, we had access to it. But once it went GA, that’s when it’s final. Correct. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. So, that’s kind of where this is at that stage is that it’s in a private preview. We have customers testing it out, giving us feedback, etc. So, let’s talk about what I’m, what’s the, you know, what we’re talking about basically here. So, I’m showing the same screen as I showed before, except now I have this new area called AI-driven semantic site matching. And it does what it says, what the name is. Basically, it takes an example that you have, example site.
