If there’s one thing that everyone who works in IT agrees on, it’s that conference swag is awesome. In the past two years, I’ve traveled to over 30 in-person conferences and collected a ton of swag. Of course, I started with stickers, and I mean a ton of stickers. Plus, I have a ton of pins, totes, beanies, socks, water bottles, and even a backpack from the last Microsoft Ignite. But I know that while everyone loves swag, not everyone can attend Microsoft’s biggest conferences because, well, they’re expensive, and not everyone has free community events near them. So, I’m doing a giveaway where everyone is a winner. Sounds interesting? Let me share more.
First, as with every giveaway, there must be a grand prize, and this prize will be unique. It’s a pair of custom iconic shoes featuring the logos of your favorite Microsoft 365 and Power Platform products. This will be made in your size just for you. Now, there will also be a second big prize since this year we finally had a big Ignite, so a lot more swag. This one will be Ignite-themed. Of course, you will have the official Microsoft Ignite backpack and water bottle.
In addition to that, you will get three Microsoft beanies, a Power Platform water bottle and notebook, Azure and Windows socks, some tech gifts like a Microsoft 365 mouse pad that can also charge your phone, and a Windows 365 branded USB hub. I will also add in some Pluralsight goodies in there like a coaster, playing cards, cable organizers, and more. Oh, and in addition, you’ll get a ton of stickers, including some very unique Ignite-branded ones.
But what if you don’t win any of the first two? Well, as I mentioned before, everybody is a winner. So, let me share with you how the giveaway works. First, you’ll go to the link you see at the bottom of the screen or in the video description, and from there, you can enter the giveaway. How do you get entries? You simply need to connect with me on different social media channels, and most likely, if you see this video, we are already connected. So, let’s say you connect with me on LinkedIn, you get two entries. You sign up for my newsletter, you get three.
If you watched one of my Pluralsight courses, just upload proof, and you get five, and so on. The more networks we connect on, the more entries you get. And guess what? For every free entry, you get a sticker. So, if you have five entries, you will get five stickers. But I really want you to love the stickers that you get, so they won’t be random.
