Hello everyone! I’m so excited to be heading to the Microsoft 365 Community Conference in May, where I will be presenting an amazing Microsoft Teams workshop with my good friend, Microsoft MVP Habib. We’re going to be doing the ultimate Microsoft Teams Administrator Workshop, focusing on various administration capabilities.

Since I come from a collaboration and SharePoint background, I’ll start by introducing all the different admin tools you have to manage Microsoft Teams. We’ll then focus on the collaboration side, covering team settings and policies, templating, governance, who can create teams, naming policies, and a bit of external sharing. External sharing is a big topic for admins today, especially with the Federation, guests, and shared channels in Teams.

Teams is more than just text and file collaboration; it’s also about communication, which is Habib’s area of expertise. He will provide instructions on configuring Microsoft Teams phone systems, discussing different architectures, managing and securing Teams room systems, licensing, auto attendants, call queues, and enhanced functionality around Microsoft Teams telephony.
