Open Book Microsoft Certification Exams | Interview with Microsoft’s Liberty Munson
The open book Microsoft certification exams announcement was too big to tackle alone! I asked Liberty Munson, Director of Psychometrics at Microsoft, to join me so we could better understand what to expect and why, from the source!
A BIG thank you to Liberty for taking the time to join me for this video! Follow Liberty on Twitter for more on Microsoft Certifications: @LibertyMunson
Microsoft Blog: Introducing a new resource for all role-based Microsoft Certification exams – Microsoft Community Hub
Open Book Microsoft Certification Exams Summary
Microsoft has introduced a new resource for all role-based Microsoft Certification exams. This resource is designed to help with all role-based (associate, expert, and specialty) certification exams. Starting from August 22, Microsoft will begin updating their exams so that you will be able to access Microsoft Learn as you complete your exam. This resource will be available in all role-based and specialty exams in all languages by mid-September1.
This new resource is intended to be used for those questions that describe problems where you may need to look something up on Microsoft Learn. It is not something you should be leveraging to answer every question. You will have access to everything in the learn.microsoft.com domain except Q&A and your profile. Extra time will not be added. The exam timer will continue as you search Learn for whatever information you need1.
To use this resource during your exam, you will select the Microsoft Learn button available on the exam question screen. This will open Microsoft Learn in a split screen to the right of the exam question. You can then navigate through the website as you normally would and expand it to full screen if you prefer1. This is an exciting new development that should help improve the overall exam experience for those taking role-based Microsoft Certification exams.
