Power Automate cloud flows are the most popular type of flow in Microsoft Power Automate, and in 2026 they are more powerful than ever with new AI capabilities to take business process automation to the next level. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to automate business processes by creating cloud flows using a practical, step-by-step approach.
Full abstract
We will start by learning the fundamental concepts of Power Automate and then move into creating cloud flows using guided examples. From there, we will create our own flows based on real-world scenarios. Throughout the workshop, each flow will take things one step further as we learn how to build approvals, use conditions, expressions, and loops, integrate flows with Microsoft Teams, and handle errors in cloud flows. We will also cover how to use Microsoft Copilot and how to infuse AI capabilities such as AI Builder prompts to extract or modify information, and the Workflows Agent to automate processes. Towards the end of the workshop, we will also learn how to take our cloud flow skills and use them for Agent flows!

About Power Platform Community Conference 2026
PPCC26 is the 5th annual edition, billed as the largest AI and Agent Makers conference in the world. It runs October 27 to 29 at the MGM Grand, with pre-conference workshops on October 25 and 26 and post-conference workshops on October 30, including mine. It is a three-day event focused on real implementations, not theory, so expect to learn how teams are actually deploying the Power Platform across their organizations.

Does VLAD150 work on workshops?
Yes. The code applies to every package: the Conference Pass, the Conference Pass plus workshop bundles, and workshop-only tickets, including my Friday workshop.
When does the Power Platform Community Conference 2026 discount code expire?
VLAD150 is valid through October 30, 2026, the last day of the conference, and I last verified it on September 5, 2026. Older code MVPVLAD (2025) no longer works; use VLAD150.
Are workshops included in the PPCC26 conference registration?
No, workshops are sold separately or as part of a Conference Pass plus Workshop bundle. The standard Conference Pass includes access to all sessions during October 27 to 29 but does not include any pre-conference (October 25 and 26) or post-conference (October 30) workshops. To attend my Friday workshop, add it to your Conference Pass or buy a workshop-only ticket.
Does the PPCC26 conference pass include meals?
Yes, the Conference Pass includes 3 lunches and a conference T-shirt. Workshop registrations include lunch on the day of the workshop only. Other meals and the attendee party experiences are usually announced closer to the event.
Is there a party at PPCC 2026?
Yes. Full conference attendees are invited to an exclusive evening event on Wednesday, October 28, with a live performance by Pitbull, plus drinks and networking. It comes with the full conference pass, which VLAD150 takes $150 off.
Are PPCC26 sessions recorded?
While some Microsoft keynotes are sometimes recorded and published after the event, the community sessions and most Microsoft sessions are not recorded. Microsoft occasionally publishes a few sessions, but it is never guaranteed, so do not count on having access to the content if you do not register. To get the full value out of PPCC, you really do need to be there in person.
How can I download the PPCC26 slides?
Once the conference has started uploading slides, a Documents button appears on your app home page. Click "Send Documents via E-mail" to get a zip file of all the slides. The slides are only available to registered attendees through the official conference app, which is another reason to register and attend in person.
